Material Research

This research is shaped by an interest in ornament, craft, and the ways material and spatial relationships condition interpretation.

Rather than treating objects as fixed carriers of meaning, this work approaches them as sites of negotiation, where form, placement, and use influence how meaning emerges and shifts. Attention is given to processes of making and observing as parallel modes of inquiry, allowing questions of scale, proximity, contradiction, and labor to be explored.
